Embark on an epic war to conquer Illuria in this highly acclaimed warlords fantasy strategy game. Choose from a selection of up to eight AI players and humans to engage in intense battles for map control.

The objective is simple - eliminate the rival factions by capturing their cities. However, achieving victory is anything but easy; it requires constructing formidable armies, training and equipping mighty heroes, forming alliances with legendary allies, and uncovering the enigmatic secrets hidden within Illuria's ruins.

The choice is yours! Will you lead the Sirian Knights, the Gray Dwarves, the Storm Giants, the Orcs of Kor, the Elves of Elvallie, the Horse Lords, the mysterious Selentine Empire, or the evil Lord Bane? Regardless of your decision, fortune and glory await!

A detailed user manual is included with the game. We highly recommend thoroughly reading it to refresh your memory and familiarize yourself with the few differences between this version and the original game.

Q: How can I save or load the game?
A: Warlords Classic automatically saves the current game at various points, such as the start and end of a turn, before and after battles, and during ruin searches. However, due to our commitment to fair play, "save-load magic" is not supported.

Q: Are there any "Hero Quests" features included?
A: Since Warlords Classic is a port of Warlords 1 and quests were introduced in Warlords II, they are not implemented in our version. We are uncertain if we will ever include them. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Q: Are there any other differences compared to the game I've loved for years?
A: Yes, there are a few minor differences. We have replaced libraries with tombs; you will always find money in tombs, and your hero will never die while searching tombs.
